Happy Birthday Sketti!!!

My son had the all time coolest birthday. We'll start with the day before his birthday. A really good friend of ours Lolly owns a plane so he rang and asked if he could take Sketti on a joy flight for his birthday. So up went Hubbin, Sketti & Lolly for an hour. Sketti had an absolute ball and informed me that he sat in the front seat and also go to actually fly the plane!!! How bloody cool is that for a 7 year old!!! So envious. So a big thank you to Lolly and have a safe extended holiday overseas...

Then we move forward to the birthday and the party...It was crapping down rain for the 2 days leading up to Sketti's party so Hubbin and I were panicking. Low and behold on the day a crystal blue sky, excellent!!! Sketti had a beaut day, scored way too many presents and slept like a log that night. I have seen nothing funnier though than 2 full grown men sitting under a trampoline playing pass the parcel with a bunch of kids. Nutters!!! The cake turned out o.k aswell, Sketti was stoked and it tasted yummo.

We are getting a puppy for the kids in 2 weeks. Sketti doesn't know yet as we are doing it as a combined birthday present for the boys, he will be rapt and Lumpy will probably try to eat it. I blatently refuse to clean up after it though and I am pretty sure that I have made that very clear to Hubbin...

Have a simply glorious day I am off to scrapbook...

I am sooo slack!!!

Well I have finally gotten off my lazy rump and made it to the computer. Had a lovely Easter weekend in Ballina with Hubbin's parents. The kids were spoilt rotten {of course} & the bestest part was I did no washing, cleaning or meal preparation for 4 whole days!!! Just what holidays should be about ALL THE TIME! Hubbin went surfing, Sketti had a crack at boogie boarding, Lumpy is now petrified of the ocean thanks to Hubbin and hell froze over as I actually got in the water. And might I add that I no longer look as good in a bikini as what I previously have LOL! Sitting in the middle of 2500 18 year olds with their non-existant childbearing hips and lack of meat on their bones actually made me smile when I realised that they were having a good old perve at my long haired very toned Hubbin, only for him to come out of the surf dripping wet and looking edible straight up to me and plant a big one on me!!! I would much rather have an arse and him than a bikini body anyday!!! A womans life is all about accessories ofcourse :-)
Sketti's birthday is this Saturday so I have been frantically trying to remember everything as he is having a small party. Spoilt rotten child might I add!!! As his grandparents won't be here for his birthday he received his gifts on Easter weekend instead. OMG what a haul!!! He got a scooter, loads of clothes, toys and to top it all off he got tickets to see the Crusty Demons when they comes in May!!! Might I add that a childs ticket is just shy of $60. Spoilt I think so, & we haven't even given him his gifts yet. And the icing on the cake for Sketti was getting to choose dinner, and what would my son choose if he had the choice and no-one could tell him no??? Why pancakes ofcourse!!! The most disgusting dinner that I have ever had apart from eating my mum's cooking!!!{ Yes sis you can stop laughing now}

Finally got my Victorian Tag album finished, it is my first OTP that I have tried and I might just be the first to say that it is shit!!! I tried but I know that I can do better...practice makes perfect. I have been buying a bunch of new papers etc on line so I'd better start scrapping my arse off to use some of them up!!!

Have a wonderful day and remember that life is a journey not a guided tour. I had to live by these words when I swam the ocean [however simple that may seem to others]...and ofcourse the magic number just for my big sis is 84 {I can see the irony in it now, sometimes you have just got to grin and bear it....I love you}

it's a sunday kind of day...

What a beautiful day today is panning out to be. Hubbin has been hard at work in the yard since 7:30am and I have cruised through most of the morning. Finished my layouts, made a chocolate cake, did washing, made a fatty bacon and egg breakfast and now have parked my arse in front of the computer. NOICE!!! That will be all that I do for today.

Saw our puppy being born yesterday which was totally disgusting and will be now marked off my to do list in life. Hubbin and I are still deciding whether or not to get a dog, I see it as being a waste of money and time {probably as I will do most of the cleaning of the animal}, but I think that Hubbin deserves another dog and the boys would love a pet. I might actually enjoy it a tad bit more if I didn't see it as a money wasting long term exercise and more of a pet!!!

Went and saw a psychic on Friday which was rather unusual to say the least. She was rather accurate and gave me a lot of insight into a few things, so now I will have to wait and see. Apparently within 18 months I will give birth to a baby girl, rather annoying for me as I would prefer all boys & 18 months I am damn impatient!!! Lots of other stuff that she said was interesting to but yet again time will tell...
Am getting rather excited as we are going to Brissy next weekend for Hubbin & Sketti to compete in a Judo tournament. Hopefully Sketti isn't too tired from playing with his cousins the day/night before to give it his best shot. As long as he has fun and trys his best that is all that matters to me, but no doubt Hubbin will be pushing Sketti a little bit harder than me... nothing like living vicariously through your children LOL!!! I am just stoked to be in for a night of scrapbooking with my big sis!!! {And we both say NOICE!!!} The best part of her being so bloody talented {can you taste the envy LOL!} is that I get free lessons!*!*!*!*! See she is a best friend with a shit load of perks N*O*I*C*E!!!
Have a wonderful day and smile as it causes less wrinkles than frowning...
